Pornography use harms the user and the people in the user’s life. Pornography isolates the user into a secretive behavior that leads to shame. Healing requires we bring the problem into the light and address it in our families and as a faith community.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops have said:
“ . . . Pornography affects so many people's lives and requires a collaborative,
concentrated effort by all of us to counter its harms.”
